Beaches!

A picture is worth a thousand words...We got our first beach day on Tuesday, on a daylong boat tour of the islands in La Maddalena Archipelago, complete with penne and mussels for lunch on board. The tour boat captain’s wife is an expat whose been here since the 1980’s and was a teacher at the naval base here. Married a Sard and never left. We got along great, even in the matters of U.S. politics.
